# Compute

Provision managed agent environments, background work, and isolated sandboxes without managing the underlying servers.

Provisioning and management **Use the console or the Control API.**

Code Sandboxes are self-service in both the console and Control API. Agent Host apply is entitlement-gated. Batch Jobs execute in US East after accepting a current compute quote.

## One lifecycle on both management surfaces

The console is an interactive client for the organization-scoped resources exposed by`https://tarka.rest/control/v1`. Each product publishes only the lifecycle operations it currently implements; shared resource reads do not imply generic mutation.

Use available self-service workflows and submit product access requests.

**Control API** `https://tarka.rest/control/v1`

Automate published product-specific lifecycle methods from trusted server-side clients.

**Organization scope** `/orgs/{org_id}/...`

Resources, access, quotas, and usage remain attached to an organization.

**Availability is explicit.**

Code Sandboxes are self-service. Agent Hosts support Compose stack create, revision, status, HTTPS, and deletion for approved organizations. Batch Jobs execute in US East, with queued runs, retained output and cancellation. Review and accept a current quote before creating work.
