# Sandboxes

Code Sandboxes provide a deliberately narrow execution environment. Other sandbox documentation routes are placeholders without a public product or API contract.

Provisioning and management **Use the console or the Control API.**

Create and manage Sandbox resources in the console or through the Control API. Both surfaces use the same templates, status, quotas, and lifecycle.

Sandbox types

## Keep each execution boundary explicit

Choosing a sandbox type is a product decision, not a hidden runtime option.
